Unlike the single Clancy model, The XL deluxe features a zippered foot and also which allow independent operation of side and foot zip so that swag can be fully opened or side closed & foot open bivy style for flow through ventilation. A very unique design!
Australian made, the Clancy is a step up from the base model Bluey swag and it comes with a foot support pole so the swag is not resting on your feet and creates an Apex style structure. The mesh is also zippered rather than removeable velcro like on the cheaper models.
It also features a larger extension head flap which the standard does not. If desired an adjustable steel pole can be added as an extra at head end.
The canvas dome is a 4 star rated swag and features a 15oz TearCheck canvas base for extra strength and uses top quality 14oz proofed RipStop cotton canvas for the top and side. Canvas typically has less strength in one direction. This re-enforcing RipStop yarn improves strength in both directions and addresses the imbalance with an extra strong polyester thread in the the weft direction. The canvas is water & rotproofed with at least double the breathability of other swag canvas
The NEW MODEL mattress now is a dual density 60mm foam with lower density foot for ease of rolling & compactness & higher density foam under the torso for comfort. The mattress cover is full removable and washable
An optional adjutable steel support pole can also be purchased if desired.
