The true bushman's coat for bushwalkers and leisure wear, the mid length Driza-Bone Bushman jacket has a traditional Driza-Bone cape as well as a lined drawstring detachable hood finished with cone toggles. The hood conveniently rolls up and fastens itself into a self forming collar.

A heavy-duty one-way zipper is hidden away by a slimline studded front stormflap. It has two large front pockets with studded closures, flannelette lined handwarmer access, as well as a drawstring waist with barlocked toggles. Inside the coat the lining has two additional security pockets with zip closures.
The strongest and toughest of the Driza-Bones is the 12oz (340gm) oilskin cotton heavyweight fabric. Its durability and toughness makes it an excellent work coat for protection under the worst conditions.

About Driza-Bone:
In 1898, a scottish sailor by the name of Edward Le Roy fashioned a few old canvas windjammer sails to protect himself from the daily abuse handed out by the 'Roaring Forties'. He did not know it, but he had created what all Australians now know as the first ever Driza–Bone® Oilskin Coat. Over a hundred years on, Driza–Bone® is now a household name.
