Made in Australia from genuine kangaroo leather (selected from non-endangered species, culled for environmental purposes), the Burke & Wills hat is remarkably lightweight. It has a soft luxurious finish and being kangaroo leather is more resilient than other quality leathers.

The leather is graded from 1mm to 1.2mm according to crown or brim area, and in the Driza-Bone tradition, has been treated with oils to achieve water resistance. The underside of the brim is finished in an eye-pleasing lighter coloured suede finish.

Double stitched and bound for strength, the hat also features two eyelets on the crown for air circulation. The sweat band is securely attached to the front of the hat and a leather pleated band and Driza-Bone badge complete the quality finish.

How to measure your hat size:

Get a soft tape measure or a long strip of strong paper and place it around your head in the position you wear your hat. The tape should be level, in the center of your forehead and about one quarter of an inch above the top of your ears. View size chart here
